Emergency Response and Recovery
In response to an emergency, the SCG provides both strategic and tactical leadership and coordinates all elements of the North East of Scotland’s response to, and recovery from, an emergency. Additional specialist advisors may also assist the SCG in an emergency.
Preparing for Emergencies
The SCG’s routine task is to prepare for potential emergencies by conducting risk assessments, preparing plans and exercising.
Resilience - The ability at every relevant level to detect, prevent and, if necessary, to respond to and recover from disruptive challenges.
